Filco Majestouch NINJA Tenkeyless Mechanical Keyboard

The Majestouch Ninja is not for everyone. It's not even for most people. It's for a small number of us who believe less is more. That understated is under-appreciated. It is for those who believe that true performance can be expressed with subtlety.
Looks can be decieving if you don't know what to look for and deception is the Ninja's greatest skill.
Beneath the surface
What lies beneath is a strong, robust frame, the latest generation, Japanese-engineered microcontroller and your choice of Cherry MX switches, themselves, the most dependable and long-life switches available.
The switches are held firmly in place by a 1.5mm mild steel plate, sandwiched between the switches and the main PCB, creating a weight and rigidity allowing stable and precise input.
The microcontroller itself supports N-key rollover, as well as speed improvements between the keyboard and the computer, making it responsive and capable of handling fast-paced gaming or bash commands without dropping or confusing keystrokes.
Together, the package delivers what a purpose-built mechanical keyboard should: a solid, robust chassis and a precise and responsive typing experience.
But if we go back to the surface for a minute, we notice that the subtle elements betray some of the Ninja's intent. The darkened Filco logo on the front of the chassis is unique to the Ninja. Filco could have left this silver, as it is on the regular Majestouch keyboards, but they didn't.
Then there's the keycaps. The legends are printed onto the front of the keycaps, not the top. Aside from the sharp aesthetics this creates, it also results in a smooth surface on which your finger tips rest.
The rest of the keyboard is pretty much follows the classic Majestouch formula, and solid, dependable and understated chassis of excellent proportions and ergonomics. Fold out stands bring the height from 33mm to 44mm for those who like a steeper angle.
Others have sought to replicate the Ninja's aesthetics and bring them to market in the form of lower priced alternatives. But simply copying the aesthetics is missing the point of the Ninja. Which we believe, is to make some subtle changes to something great, and in doing so, creating something totally original.
The Majestouch is already a proven and reliable package. The Ninja takes the Majestouch to new heights with distinctive, yet subtle styling and a level of performance worthy of the moniker.
As with most other Filco boards, there's a choice of a subset of Cherry MX Switches covering a mix of tactile and linear feel across various actuation forces.
Switches available include:
- Cherry MX Brown
- Cherry MX Blue
- Cherry MX Red
- Cherry MX Black
